Often finding inspiration through art and architecture, Kristina relishes creating innovative design that involves textile manipulation and handcrafted details. Inspired by her time studying abroad in Florence, Italy and New York City, Kristina has gained unique experiences that have shaped her design aesthetic and creative process. As a recent graduate from the Kent State University BFA Fashion Design Program with high academic standing, Kristina had developed a unique aesthetic and appreciation for creative arts that have shaped her into the designer that she is today. With industry experience ranging from design internships with luxury brands like Christian Siriano to corporate design internships with Kohl’s Department stores, Kristina has developed a strong set of industry ready skills. From the initial phase of conceptualization and sketching to the final steps of garment production, she has had hands on experience working in New York City sourcing fabrics and textiles and working directly with the domestic factories in order to assure smooth production, as well as communicating with factories abroad.
